Quik Pick QP100 Robotic Primary Food Handling

The Quest QP100 is a family of pick-and-place solutions designed for direct food handling. These versatile robotic systems load, orient, stack, and group products into a wide range of primary packaging equipment, including thermoformers, flow wrappers, and vacuum sealers. They are engineered to handle challenging products such as bakery items, cheese, meat, and poultry in nearly any shape or configuration. The QP100 series can also be configured to load lined totes or cartons in customizable pack patterns.

Built with the FANUC DR-3iB/6 stainless steel food-grade delta robot and Soft Robotics mGrip end-of-arm tooling, the system is USDA Dairy compliant and designed for washdown environments. Soft Robotics mGripAI vision enables the system to handle randomly placed or piled products with precision and efficiency.

For lower-speed or space-constrained applications, Quest also offers a FANUC LR Mate articulated arm option with mGrip tooling, delivering the same loading, orienting, and stacking capabilities at a reduced footprint.

Quest Industrial’s raw and packaged robotic cheese stick pick and place system is clean, quick and nimble. Odd word to use right? We don’t think so. Our robotic cheese stick pick and place system is just that, quick and light in movement. We are able to get these robots picking & placing so accurately and fast that it would seem like the cheese is floating. Some of our customers have said that these robots move so fast that they can hardly watch to keep track of how fast the robot is actually moving.

This robotic cheese stick pick and place system is perfect for applications which need high rates, a long reach and have a small payload. Our robotic experts use FANUC’s M430 that has a payload of up to about 4lbs with a reach of 35 inches or FANUC’s LR Mate which has a payload of up to 15lbs and a reach of about 28 inches. Depending on the weight of your product, our robotic cheese stick pick and place system can reach rates of up to 600 pieces per minute!
