Mechanical Engineer
Young company located in Green County Wisconsin is seeking a mechanical/Automation design engineer with plenty of opportunity for growth.  Our company is a growing Robotic Integration and Automation house with an emphasis in Food (Dairy and Cheese), Plastics, and Metals.  We have a family like atmosphere in which creative thinking is welcomed and dedication is needed.   We seek a self starter whom is willing to learn and can work under minimal supervision.  Your duties will include working on tooling for robotic cells, designing of machinery, and trouble shooting of existing equipment.

Desired person will have the following:

  • A general understanding of automation -- this would include but not be limited to: high-speed assembly machinery, SCADA / Gantry / Six-Axis Robotics, and general automation technology.
  • Capable of interfacing with internal personnel and vendors on component selection, assembly, troubleshooting and final documentation, project management and leadership skills.
  • An understanding of safe working practices and principles.
  • Minimum qualifications:
    • BS (4-yr degree) w/ emphasis in Engineering, Designing, or Industrial Automation. Employer will also accept individuals with 7 years working experience in related fields.
    • At least 3 years experience working on the design, analysis and fabrication of  machined components and systems
    • SOLID knowledge 3D CAD systems like INVENTOR® (Most Preferable), Solid Works®, and/or Pro-E®
    • Automation and/or machine design.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Pneumatics and hydraulics background
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Basic knowledge of AC and DC electrical sensors and components
  • Broad automation exposure, especially with robotics
  • PC literate
  • Understanding of basic materials and properties ranging from plastics to metals
  • Familiarity with associated codes for this field; NEC, OSHA, RIA (certification a plus)
  • Welding and fabrication skills
  • Basic machining principles

Pay is based upon experience 30-50K per year salary

Programming Engineer
This position is for a highly successful and growing Robotics and Automation firm. This programmer will be responsible for programming robots, PLC�s HMI�s and other automation controls. This candidate must be able to handle low supervision and produce results. This Southern Wisconsin company is looking for a self starter who is motivated and willing to learn in a family-like atmosphere. So if you are in quest of the opportunity to team up with an emerging company, this is it!

Desired person will have the following:

  • A general understanding of automation -- this would include but not be limited to: high-speed assembly machinery, SCADA / Gantry / Six-Axis Robotics, and general automation technology.
  • Capable of interfacing with internal personnel and vendors on component selection, assembly, troubleshooting and final documentation, project management and leadership skills.
  • An understanding of safe working practices and principles.
  • Minimum qualifications:
    • BS (4-yr degree) w/ emphasis in Electrical Engineering, Programming, or Industrial Controls. Employer will also accept individuals with 5 years working experience in related fields.
    • At least 3 years experience working on the design, analysis and fabrication of PLC based control systems. (Preferably automation controls and systems)
    • SOLID knowledge of both AC and DC circuits.
    • PLC programming and troubleshooting

Additional Qualifications:

  • Heavy emphasis on PLC programming and HMI development (Allen-Bradley experience is preferred)
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Broad automation exposure, especially with robotics
  • PC literate
  • CAD Experience, preferably with Autodesk’s AutoCAD series
  • Familiarity with associated codes for this field; NEC, OSHA, RIA (certification a plus)
